


After hearing about chakras for over a decade in her yoga classes, during a particularly intense three hour Kundalini Yoga class Jacquelyn experienced powerful energy swirling inside of her. It was the "aha moment" that would lead her on a four year journey seeking a deeper understanding of this experience. On a quest to learn how to feed the feeling, she was led into the world of mystical happenings, Ayurvedic doctors, herbalists, healers, shamans, chefs, and yogis which culminated in the creation of ChakWave Juices.
After many spills and thrills in the kitchen, Jacquelyn landed upon the seven blends of fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, and teas to support the chakra energy centers and made them available to friends, family, and juice lovers all over the greater Los Angeles area. As time went by and she heard stories of unfulfilling jobs left behind, relationships evolving, and minds and bodies awakening she realized she had found her true passion, bringing ChakWave Juices to the world.
Jacquelyn received her yoga teacher certification studying with Lalit Kumar
at the Himalaya Yoga Valley in Goa, India. She is a certified Reiki practitioner
and has completed the intensive Chakra Awakening: Psychology of the Chakras
course as well as Chakra Yoga teacher training with Anodea Judith, founder
of Sacred Centers. A graduate of the master chef program at the Culinary Classroom
in Los Angeles, Jacquelyn has also studied herbalism, aromatherapy, Pranayama,
meditation, sound healing, nutrition, and the application of essential oils.
Jacquelyn keeps a garden and compost in her Venice Beach home with her beloved husband Todd and little black cat Balka, and enjoys traversing the globe from India to Peru, Morocco to Croatia, exploring spirituality and environmentally conscious living, experiencing the people, enjoying the food and drink, and welcoming the amazing synchronicities and adventures.
