You are invited to participate in the ChakWave cleanse any way you choose. You may drink only the ChakWave juices for the week as outlined, or perhaps you might add more chia seeds to bulk up the juices for a more full feeling. A one day cleanse with a cup of each of the seven juices is a fun and effective rainbow reset, or you may find incorporating the juices alongside light meals will better fit your goals for the weeklong commitment. Check in with yourself, and always listen to your body.
Don’t beat yourself up if you choose to eat. Have a handful of raw nuts, a piece of fruit, or warm broth and then assess how you are doing. Juicing by day and enjoying a healthy meal of vegetables, fruits, salad, or soup for dinner has worked for many. If you will be adding solid foods to your cleanse, do try to keep them fresh and plant-based for optimal detoxification. Your body knows best and will tell you what is working and what may benefit from some finessing.
If now is not the time to take on the seven day cleansing journey or you only have a limited amount of days to juice, then any scenario “counts.” No sweat if you don’t do the entire cleanse up the chakra system. Have two days and want to focus on Root and Third Eye chakras? Then just juice those recipes and read up on the properties of each.
More of a four-day juice faster? Create your own “Cover Your Bases” cleanse from Root to Heart to address the lower chakras and establish a strong foundation. Sometimes we just need a tune up or are taking sweet baby steps toward our cleansing goals. You and only you know best what you require. Having done the cleanse a number of times throughout the years, I usually opt to drink water, sip herbal tea, and only have one or two juices per day. If you feel like juicing from the Crown down, then by all means call in that manifestation energy and ground it with Root on the seventh day. This is your adventure to choose and create!
If you do not live in a place with a bounty of fresh produce or farmers markets, remember there are no hard and fast rules in life or with juice recipes so feel free to explore combinations of fruits and vegetables and find what works for you according to taste preference, seasonality, and availability. If pomegranates aren’t an option, carry on with the rest of the recipe or add a few more blackberries. If cantaloupes aren’t your thing, increase the amount of carrots and oranges.
If you choose not to incorporate the herbal teas, the juices alone are delicious. Don’t feel like fruit? Then make all vegetable juice. The colors may not look exactly like what you find in the crayon box, but that isn’t a deal breaker. Green juice your favorite? Make the Heart recipe every day and maybe a cup of the other colors to bring in the full color spectrum. Above all, it is the intention you set that is most important.
If you are taking special medications or have any questions or concerns about cleansing, do not hesitate to consult with your health care provider/s. Reach out for support when embarking upon a new experience, and always trust your intuition. You probably would not have picked up this book unless you were interested in and ready for this healing journey.
