1. Writing with your non-dominant hand, channel your inner child with scribbly markings.

  2. What messages does the kid within have for you? Look up into the blue sky and remember what the pure voice said before others told you what to think or how to act. What did you love to do as a child? When playing dress up and make believe, what would you become . . . a singer, doctor, farmer, actor, entrepreneur, teacher, parent? These pure childhood dream impulses give us good insight into discovering our truest callings.

  3. If you find yourself beaten down or in a bind, ask how you got there. Can you name the beliefs that tend to bring you down? Do these beliefs lead to some destructive behaviors or bad habits? Where did these thoughts form? Whose voice is in your head? Is it a parent, friend, teacher, or leader? Take the time to discover who is unconsciously telling you what to do or what your values and morals should be. Thank them for their time and contribution to your life and growth. Now step away, bid them farewell and welcome your freedom of expression.
